More Google Nexus Rumors Emerge Over the Nexus 8 or 9

More Google Nexus rumors are emerging over the tablet that will either be the Nexus 8 or 9. The HTC Volantis is expected to be the Nexus 8, and will hopefully be released by the end of the month. This is certainly much sooner than previously expected.

Over the last month, reports have been that the new Google Nexus devices will be released around October or November time. This will miss the competition from Apple and Samsung, but will also help to hit the sales periods when more people are going to look for tech gadgets. In the United States, Black Friday is extremely popular for those looking for technical gadgets.

August certainly makes some sense for the release of a new Nexus device. This would give the device chance for people to buy before the sales, and will be before other major competitors release their devices. Apple and Samsung are expected to release devices around September or October, as that would be a year since their previous releases.

Unfortunately, there has been no confirmation from the likes of HTC or Google about this new expected tablet device. All the information is coming from leaks from Twitter account Upleaks, which often shares information about new technical devices from China. The main expectations are that the Nexus 8 (or 9 depending on who is reporting) will have an 8MP camera and a 64-bit Tegra processor.

As more Google Nexus rumors emerge over the Nexus 8 or 9, it would suggest that this is going to be a step up from all previous devices. This is especially the case for the graphics if the Tegra processor is true. Tegra processors are known for the high quality graphics, which would mean that people would be able to play more games and see a better value for money.

According to PhoneArena, there will be a metal chassis surrounding the 8.9-inch screen. A metal chassis has become a major deal for many tablets and smartphones now. This is something that many users are calling for to add more protection to the devices.

Despite there being no confirmation that HTC will unveil the new Google Nexus device this month, many are reporting on it. Where has this information come from? It is mainly due to the fact that the Nexus 7 has reduced in price on the Google Play Store.

It is common for companies to reduce the price of devices when a newer one is about to be released. It is an attempt to get rid of old stock before the newer one comes in. However, Google has reduced the prices of devices before. The Google Nexus 10 price was reduced just last year, leading to the rumors that a Nexus 10 2 was about to be released. The device also went out of stock to add to the rumors, but a 10 2 was never released in the end.

These are just rumors. At the moment, there is nothing concrete but it seems like it is worth keeping an eye out for a new device. For those looking to upgrade their Google Nexus device, more rumors are emerging over the Nexus 8 or 9 on a daily basis.
