Texas and Mexico Border Bomb Threat

A bomb threat was called in to authorities in Mexico against the Veteran’s International Bridge at the U.S. border which connects with the town of Brownsville, Texas. Traffic was diverted as Mexican officers searched the area for any signs of an explosive device. Those wanting to make the crossing were diverted to two other bridges as the search for the alleged bomb continued. Mexican officials have concluded that the threat was actually a hoax, and regular traffic across the bridge has resumed.
