Homeland Security agents raiding a Randolph, Massachusetts home discovered over one ton of marijuana in the bust. Eyewitness reports from neighbors say that agents used a battering ram to gain access to the home, where massive amounts of the drug were found. Neighbors were shocked to see this activity in a quiet suburb just south of Boston, and say that the couple were quiet and gave no indication of what was going on inside the house.
Authorities are describing the couple residing in the home, Andrean Jaggon and Michael Gordon, as being at the center of a trans-continental drug ring with their home as a hub. A man in California was also arrested in connection with the investigation. According to reports, the Massachusetts couple received the marijuana shipped across the country using the mail and Fedex packages. Gordon, in addition to the drug charges, is being accused of structuring, for trying to conceal his activities from authorities by moving money around in increments of less than $10,000. No details have yet been given about how authorities became aware of the operation, or if there are any other participants under investigation.
