Missouri Man Allegedly Killed by Juveniles Wielding Hammers

In St. Louis, Missouri, a man was allegedly beaten to death on Sunday hammers by two hammer-wielding juveniles who are now in custody. According to a report by WLWT, the police stated that the man, Zemir Begic, 32, had received hammer blows to his face and mouth, abdomen and head.

Begic was unconscious by the time police officers arrived on the scene. He was transported to a local hospital. According to the police, doctors there pronounced him dead.

The incident report stated that Zemir Begic was in his vehicle when the a number of juveniles approached it and began hitting it with hammers. Begic got out of his vehicle and the juveniles reportedly began yelling at him and hitting him with hammers. According to the report, “After the assault, the juveniles fled the scene on foot.”

The two juvenile suspects that the St. Louis, Missouri police later located and took into custody are 15 and 16 years old. There was no apparent motive for the attack on the man. An investigation is ongoing and updates will follow.
