Hzone iPhone App Community Is 90 Percent Gay

HzoneHzone is an iPhone app created specifically with gay people living with HIV/AIDS. There are several apps already in existence for the STD community which include sexually transmitted diseases such as Syphilis, herpes, Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, HPV, HSV and others, but Hzone community is predominantly gay affording members to easily find like partners void of shame and discrimination.

This app was designed with the same gender lover (SGL) with HIV/AIDS in mind. Although dating can be more difficult for gays who have HIV, it does not eliminate the possibility of finding love. Those with HIV have to be more responsible as a result of their diagnosis, but with the right connection and ample trust between the two, love can become a reality and Hzone wants to simplify the HIV dating process.

While nearly 39 million people have died worldwide as a result of AIDS, in the United States alone, over 1.1 million people are living with HIV and nearly half are gay. Due to the shame and depression associated with the gay lifestyle, many have turned to substance abuse because they feel as if they have been handed a life sentence that few understand. The Hzone developers know how difficult life can be for gay people living with HIV and have created this app as to reduce the stigma of dating for this community.

Many have negative attitudes about SGLs and other members of the LGBTQ community. Far too often this leads to rejection and isolation from family and friends, discriminatory and violent acts as well as laws that adversely affect the lives of this community, both physically and mentally. Acceptance of same-sex relationships is on the rise, but the stigma associated with homophobic members of society are still prevalent.Hzone

Homophobia, stigma, and discrimination are social determinants that can affect physical and mental health; often serving as a deterrent to seek help and determining the services, and/or quality of health services this community receives. These barriers need to be addressed on various levels of society in order to increase opportunities, services and overall health of SGLs. For many people, lesbian and gay relationships are still unacceptable and this thinking negatively affects the LGBTQ community.

Hzone was designed to help the gay community find a partner. No longer will they have to sort through millions of people on STD networks just to find others with their same diagnosis or ones that will understand their concerns. The Hzone app is a great start to demolishing the stigma while allowing the gay community a heightened chance to find love.

In the United States, gay and bisexual males are more affected by HIV than any other group, representing approximately two percent of the U.S. population. Out of the host of gay and bisexual men most severely affected by HIV, African-American MSMs bear a disproportionate burden of HIV. This is not a new statistic; between 2008 and 2010 HIV infections among black MSMs increased by 20 percent and have continued to rise.

Hzone is the number one app created especially for gay people living with HIV/AIDS. Hzone allows users to live a more positive life of sharing and discovery while increasing the reality of dating and finding a partner to enjoying life with. HIV/AIDS does not regulate same gender lovers to a life sentence of loneliness; this app makes it possible to live a more positive life while returning to the dating scene. This is where gay people will find a community of like-minded HIV singles void of discrimination or judgment. Go ahead and download the Hzone iPhone app where its user base is 90 percent gay.
