‘Duck Dynasty’ Star Tied Knot

Duck Dynasty
Duck Dynasty star ties the knot. The wedding was simple and vintage-like, outside in the wonderful weather. Duck Dynasty star John Luke Robertson and Mary Kate McEacharn tied the knot on Saturday, June 27. The wedding was held at the family farm in West Monroe, Louisiana. A mariachi band performed before the ceremony. They played songs like Here Comes the Sun, Amazing Grace, Sweet Caroline, and Stand By Me. The wedding was officiated by Willie Robertson.

Mary Kate’s gown was adorned with tulle and beads. She wore a crown of orange, pink, and yellow flowers on her head. The bridesmaids were in simple elegant outfits. Mary Kate told US Weekly that her wedding day was one of the happiest days of her life. It was all she hoped for and more. Sadie Robertson is excited that she is now able to call Mary Kate her sister, she said. Mary Kate was able to share lunch with her bridesmaids before she exchanged vows.

Duck Dynasty star Alan Robertson told the newlyweds before they tied the knot to “have the mindset of Jesus” in their marriage. Alan sent his advice to the newlyweds in an email to The Christian Post. He told the couple to be honest with each other and forgive each other’s offenses. He continued, telling the couple to live out Paul’s challenge to the Philippian church in Philippians 2:3-5, which says, “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of others.”

There were 800 guests in attendance to watch as the Duck Dynasty star and Mary Kate tied the knot, according to the Inquisitor. The occasion was casual, which was planned by Bethany Sigrest. There was a local band that played some old songs.

Sadie Robertson’s Dancing with the Stars partner, Mark Ballas, was also at the special event with his girlfriend, BC Jean. Mark even sang for the couple at the wedding reception. Duck Dynasty shared clips of their wedding preparations in the current season. Now fans are expecting to see full coverage of the wedding, which will be coming in future episodes of Duck Dynasty.

John Luke and Mary Kate met at a Bible-based camp in 2010, the two started dating March 2013. John Luke attempted to date Mary Kate before 2013, but she continuously turned him down. After he graduated, he was finally able to persuade her to date him. Mary Kate and John Luke Robertson both plan on attending Liberty University in the fall. No information has been released concerning what the two will be studying now that the Duck Dynasty star has tied the knot.

Duck Dynasty

John Luke is an actor who is most well-known for his role in Duck Dynasty. The reality television series is on the A&E network. The show is about the Robertson family. The Robertsons have their own family business, which has been very successful as the family is known for becoming wealthy from their business, Duck Commander. Except for John Luke, the men of the family are known for their long beards and Christian values.

Even though Duck Dynasty has broken many records, Phil Robertson made the remark “anti-gay” in an exclusive interview with GQ December 2013. This extremely controversial, hot-button comment resulted in the suspension of the show by A&E. However, the public pressured the network to lift the suspension of the show and Phil Robertson made a change in his comment.
