Mya-Lecia Naylor who co-starred in the 2012 film “Cloud Atlas” with Halle Berry and Tom Hanks, and in multiple shows on the BBC’s television channel died on April 7, 2019, after collapsing. She was 16 years old. The cause of her death has not been released.
Naylor’s death was confirmed by her management team at A&J Management.
The actress was featured in the shows “Almost Never” and “Millie Inbetween.” The CBC released a statement saying Naylor was extremely talented and a huge part of the A&J family. They added she would be greatly missed.
Mya-Lecia, who appeared in CBBC shows Millie Inbetween and Almost Never, died on 7 April after she collapsed, her agents A&J Management said.
Fans have been posting tributes for the actress. Naylor played the role of Fran in the series “Millie Inbetween.” The show was about a pair of sisters whose parents broke up. In the show “Almost Never,” the actress played Maya. She played the lead singer of a fictional all-girl band who had a rival with a boy band.
Emily Atack who is in “Almost Never,” said Naylor was a joy to be with, and she was sad and shocked to learn about her co-star’s death.
