Former Playboy model 25-year-old Kelsey Turner was in court in Stockton, Nevada on April 8, 2019, to discuss her extradition for her involvement in the murder of 71-year-old child psychiatrist Thomas Burchard.
Burchard was found on March 7 dead. Turner is accused of murdering him and placing his body in the trunk of a car, leaving it outside Las Vegas in the desert. Police arrested Turner on March 21.
In an interview with the Salinas Californian, court officials said due to Turner’s pregnancy, her scheduled extradition to Las Vegas has been postponed.
Burchard was paying for a home Turner resided in with her mother and two children in Salinas, Nevada. He also paid all of their bills.
The girlfriend of Burchard, Judy Earp, said he paid $300,000 to Turner.
Earp said the Playboy Model was “as evil and horrible as Charles Manson.”
Warrants for the psychiatrist’s murder were issued for Jon Kennison, Turner’s boyfriend, and Diana Pena.
The Salinas Californian reported court paperwork filed at Las Vegas Justice Court on April 5, both are charged with murder with the use of a deadly weapon and conspiracy to commit murder.
The arrest report said it appears by the blood evidence Burchard was attacked in a car. The police discovered cleaning supplies.
Inside the Playboy model’s rental home the found a door with blood on it ripped from its hinges, and there was blood in the garage.
It is alleged the doctor was hit in his head with a blunt object before dying.
