According to Lynn Spears, Britney Spears’ mother Lynn Spears requested a hearing immediately to let her access the pop star’s treatment plan and medical records.
Lynn filed court documentation asking the judge to permit her lawyer to appear in a hearing in court on May 7, 2019. At that time, the judge will hear the conservative case regarding Spears.
At the court hearing, Britney’s mother plans on asking the judge to order Britney’s father, Jamie Spears, to include her in the treatment plan for Britney.
Jamie Spears was named the conservator for Britney, and there has been considerable conflict between himself and wife. Lynn is not asking to be named as a co-conservator but is not pleased how Britney’s care is being managed.
The lawyer for Lynn is saying it is in the pop star’s best interest to have her mother involved in her treatment.
It has been reported that Spears is still decompensated after she completed her 30-day inpatient stay at a mental institution. She was hospitalized because her medication no longer worked and they needed to find a new combination that worked.
Britney’s father was trying to provide her with discipline and structure, and he believes Lynne does not say no to her daughter and just wants the pop star to like her.
