Shawn “Clown” Crahan’s the percussionist for the metal band Slipknot’s daughter Gabrielle died on May 18, 2019. She was 22 years old, and the cause of death had not been announced.
Crahan shared the sad news on the band’s official Facebook page on May 19 stating in a post that it was with a broken and sad heart, and from a place of great pain, that he had to tell everybody that his youngest daughter, Gabrielle died yesterday on May 18. She was only 22. Funeral arrangements will be announced shortly. The family asks that everybody respects them and gives them privacy to mourn.
The night before Crahan’s daughter’s death, Slipknot made an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” It was their first performance since 2019 had started.
A few days prior, the band made an announcement that discussing “We Are Not Your Kind,” The upcoming album set to be dropped on August 9.
Slipknot’s lead singer, Corey Taylor tweeted on Twitter that his heart was broken for Crahan, and asked everybody to keep him and the family in their thoughts and send them love.
