How Ron DeSantis Became the Fuhrer of Florida

Ron DeSantis has complete control over the state of Florida. He is not an elected official, he has established himself as a dictator, or more accurately a Fuhrer who has unlimited power. DeSantis is not loyal to America and Florida is no longer part of the United States. How did this happen?

Ignorance Is Voting for a Party, Not a Candidate

The majority of Florida’s voters cast their ballots for a party, not for the most qualified candidate. In 2022 not only was DeSantis reelected, Republicans gained a super majority in the state’s legislature. All of DeSantis’ fascist proposals have been rubber stamped by another group of failed politicians who place their party ahead of the people of Florida.

Immediately after his reelection he began his attacks on Black Americans, the LGBTQ community, the Constitutional rights of women, and exposed himself as a xenophobe. In simple terms, “he is out-Trumping Trump.”

Fascist Actions and Words Define DeSantis

DeSantis has removed books from libraries because they are offensive to him and his supporters. They punish teachers if they teach the facts about the history of racism in America, or admit the rightful existence of any part of the gay, lesbian, or transsexual residents of his state.

DeSantis is planning to expand his “don’t say gay” law. Florida’s educators are expressing their fear that more books offering accurate history of life in America will be removed from their state’s libraries. What DeSantis is doing in Florida is fascist, not democratic. This is tantamount to the book burning incidents in 1859 and 1860.

Never Fight a Mouse

However, his ego is much larger than his brain. After Disney’s management and employees expressed their support for transgender Americans, DeSantis attempted to punish the entertainment giant. Unfortunately for the worst governor in America, he lost badly on each occasion. The overall result is the creation of dissension among his supporters in Washington and those who expressed a desire to finance a possible effort to win the Republican presidential nomination in 2024. Losing every battle has resulted in desertion among the ranks.

History Cannot Repeat in 2024

In 2016 I could not believe that an ignorant man without a single qualification which would allow him to lead our country could win the presidency. Although I continue to believe Trump’s victory was illegitimate, I am even more convinced that neither Trump nor DeSantis is fit to claim the title of President of the United States in 2024.

I believe that in 2016 the Republican Party failed to offer one man or woman who was experienced and qualified to lead our nation with the single exception of the Governor of Ohio, John Kasich. The seventeen candidates originally invited to the debates were soon labeled “the clown car.” The quality of possible candidates has seriously deteriorated over the last seven years.

The very thought of a President DeSantis, a second President Trump, or any other man or woman from the right side of the aisle sitting behind the Resolute Desk is both revolting and frightening.

In 2016 the American people were in great need of a leader who would do great things. Instead, we had the worst man in the world for four years. Any Republican candidate would simply be a clone of the orange buffoon in 2024. This must not happen.
