Sometimes I Think I Read Too Much

All too often for me, reading results in disappointment and irritation. The average political writer is completely out of touch with the average American man and woman. Yes, the economy is always an issue, although the average citizen has no idea what that means or how to change the situation. Healthcare is vital, but that, too, is related to the economy. Only the wealthy can send their children to college or university, and once again this is an economic issue. However, I am telling you the truth, these issues will not convince most Americans to vote for any individual candidate without the assistance of someone who appears on television.

Contrary to the “experts,” most Americans vote based on their emotions. Intelligence or attempting to be informed has little to do with winning or losing elections in most years. Nothing proves this more than a survey conducted several years ago. Most of our country’s people learn most of what they need to know from television. In 2023 social media can be included in this revelation. Therefore, if you are a fan of the original fake news network, Fox, you are angry and have learned to hate people who you have never met. You have been brainwashed and believe lies while rejecting facts and therefore the truth.

Television, Social Media, and Most of the Internet Do Not Offer the Entire Truth

Television is first and foremost an entertainment network. Therefore, it is the job of television personalities to bring out an emotional response. However, it is the responsibility of every voter to know who they are voting for, not the persona they present when they are in front of the television cameras. For example, anyone who worked in the White House will tell you that Trump frequently screamed at his own staff, acting like the spoiled child he is. He constantly proved that he is indeed a malignant narcissist.

Television is also responsible for some of the worst men and women serving in Washington. All networks frequently ignore candidates who attempt to speak about the important issues: they are not exciting or controversial. If all news broadcasts had covered Hillary Clinton equally to Donald Trump in 2016, our nation would not have suffered the damage created by the old, obese man who intentionally divided our nation for four years. We would have had a second “President Clinton” in the White House, and likely for eight years. Facts show that the networks offered Trump five-times more coverage than all other candidates combined.

Professional Politicians Are Mostly Professional Liars

The men and women who choose to be professional politicians refuse to offer the truth to American voters. They learned from experience that Reagan, the two Bush’s, and Trump succeeded in winning elections by telling lies and half-truths.

I sincerely believe that telling the truth while receiving equal coverage from the media is what the American people want. For example, President Barack Obama was one of the most popular presidents in modern history because he was hard working, honest, and attempted to do the right thing about every issue he faced, although he was unfairly criticized by Fox constantly, and faced the obstructionist “party of no” for eight years. In January of 2009 Moscow Mitch McConnell admitted that Republicans would do nothing while spending all their efforts ensuring that Mr. Obama would be a one term president. Just another failure for Old Mitch and his fake Republican Party.
