Early Sunday morning, multiple people were injured in a mass shooting at a music venue in East End, Cincinnati, according to police Interim Chief Adam Hennie.

Shooting Details

Dispatch received a 911 call at approximately 1 a.m. for reports of multiple shots fired inside Riverfront Live, located in the 4300 block of Kellogg Avenue along the Ohio River.

All of the nine people who were shot have non-life-threatening injuries, according to Henniw. Some victims were transported to UC Medical Center, and the others were taken to Good Samaritan Hospital.

UC Medical Center confirmed it received eight victims of the shooting. Two were treated for their injuries and released. Five of the injured are in stable condition, and one is reported to be in critical condition.

Hennie did not know what led up to the shooting and did not say if they had any information concerning a suspect.

According to reports on social media, the Riverfront Live venue was hosting a party with multiple DJs that kicked off at 10 p.m.
