Ivana Lisette Ortiz of Florida allegedly fired shots at Rihanna’s home while the singer was inside.

Ortiz is charged with attempted murder, and bail is set at $10 million.

The Shooting At Rihanna’s Home

After shots were fired outside the popstar’s Beverly Glen property on Sunday, March 8, 2026, 35-year-old Ortiz was arrested.

Local Law enforcement says the gunfire came from a vehicle across the street from the singer’s mansion.

The singer was inside her home at the time. No one was injured.

Multiple shots were fired, but did not penetrate the singer’s home. They did strike the outside of the mansion as well as a vehicle parked out front.

At least two homes on the block had bullet holes from the AR-style gun allegedly used by Ortiz.

In an audio from dispatch, officials are heard reporting that an LAPD  helicopter followed the suspect’s Tesla into a small garage. It was there that she was pulled over and arrested by patrol units.

Investigators are still trying to determine whether Ortiz knew the home belonged to Rihanna.

The singer shares the home with her three children and her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky. It is unknown if any of them were home at the time of the shooting.
