‘Fast and Furious 7’ Casting of Cody Walker Not Finalized

Fast and Furious 7

Fast and Furious 7 is the talk of the town at present. The rumors and speculations are running high with regard to the casting of Cody Walker in the movie. FF7 is an action-adventure flick which revolves around the plot of high speed car racing on the city roads. Rumors that the junior Walker may be cast to fill in for his fallen brother, Paul Walker have not been finalized, and fans are growing restless about the final decision.

Social media is buzzing with the words, “Cody” and “FF7″ and thousands of comments are pouring in. The late star Paul Walker was a truly charismatic hero who drove his fans crazy, especially females. His replacement in Fast and Furious 7 has to have that same charisma and confidence. Cody Walker does have a handsome face, but the heroic body language can only be verified if he actually gets his brother’s part in FF7. The production house, Universal Pictures has commented that shooting on the film will be stopped and they will stand beside the family members as friends.

Paul Walker’s brother Cody has to complement great actors like Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson, Jason Statham, Nathalie Emmanuel, and Dwayne Johnson. There has been no word from the production house about casting Cody in Fast and Furious 7 so the final decision is still in pending mode. Even as this decision is up in the air, Cody and his mother Cheryl have chosen not to speak to the media which seems to be a wise decision.

In California, Cheryl and Cody were spotted while cleaning out Paul’s home. There were photographs all over the internet a few days ago showing Cody as he was moving clothes from the house to a car. In Santa Barbara, California the whole family gathered to attend the memorial service for Paul. No one in the Walker family has commented about this issue.

Fast and Furious 7 is a hugely popular movie franchise and deciding on the cast is a tough job. A lot of expectations are involved, so if Cody Walker is chosen as its cast, the stuntman will need to put in a lot of hard work. The final scenes will be shot with extreme sensitivity and it is rumored that CGI technology will be used to conceal the facial dissimilarity between Cody and Paul. At the moment it is no more than speculation and no concrete proof  has come forth as to whether Cody will be  cast as Brian  O’Conner for  FF7 or not.

Even though the age difference between them is 15 years, the physical similarities will not be a problem if Cody is finalized in Fast and Furious 7. The Walker brothers, Cody, Paul and Caleb, have facial similarities and Cody has a more similarities with brother Paul in comparison to Caleb. A source close to the Daily Mail commented, “If Cody agrees it’s because he wants to honor his brother’s memory.” Speculations and rumors aside, Universal Pictures has told the British newspaper that the casting of Cody in FF7 is not yet finalized.

My heart and prayers continue to go out to the families
of both men! Paul Walker isn’t replaceable and will truly
be missed by many as he was a great actor and done
great work through his charity. I feel if Paul’s brother Cody
is willing to finish Paul’s work with Fast and Furiouse rather
it end with 7 or continue it would be a great tribute to his brother’s

Though I wouldn’t mind seeing Cody play Brian O’ Conner without any CGI makeup, I still feel as though they would have to do it in order to keep the overall public happy. It’s just to bad not everyone feels the same about Paul Walker as us fans do.

I miss Paul Walker RIP PAUL WALKER, you will be miss

Cody should continue the role as Brian O’Connor. Preserve Paul’s character and memory in the sequel! NO CGI BS!!! JUST GO ON WITH BRIAN’S ROLE IN 7 and 8 and 9….!

  11. Matthew Simmonds December 19, 2013 at 1:40 pm

I think it harsh that they want to use Cody but CGI him. I think it would be nicer to just let Cody play the part without CGI as fans of Paul and ff should except it as a touching jester to his brother. I hope the decide not to kill him off and let him and mia and the baby leave to have a life out of the fast lane

I think the best option is to continue the movie with cody walker.. in memory of paul walker who better than his brother to honer him. Paul walker was the best he will never be forgotten. R.I.P PAUL WALKER. Nothing will ever be the same with out you..

It would seem befitting to cast Cody to finish the remainder of Fast & Furious 7.

What an honorable send-off…and no one would care more about seeing the job done right than his brother.

    RIP, Paul…you are truly irreplaceable.

No One can replace Paul Walker…but it would be nice to have him honored with using his
brother! Because lets face it they are going to get there paycheck! So who better than his brother!!!!!!!!

  16. D December 19, 2013 at 8:04 am

They know Paul is irreplaceable… but life must go on… not to sound horrible because I have read some nasty comments.. I was a huge fan of his on and off screen .. he was an amazing human being and the things he did for his chairty and the needy I have much respect… I have all the movies and I know it will not be the same without Paul but Cody is a good match for the finishing of the movie. If the movie didnt get finished I am sure alot of fans would be upset to an extent. There is nothing wrong with them using Cody to finish the series.. But for them to make another one I doubt that will happen. So I think it is a good idea for them to use him . It would be a great tribute to Paul and im sure Paul would be happy with that along w the rest of the family. and Im pretty sure Universal knows if they were to make #8 it would more than likely flop.. because they know No one compares to paul in this series.
