House of Cards stars Kevin Spacey as Francis Underwood and Robin Wright as his wife, Claire. This critically-acclaimed drama depicts a suspenseful and captivating version of what goes on through the back halls of greed, sex, love and corruption in modern Washington D.C.

In the second season of House of Cards, the power husband-and-wife duo, the Underwoods, continue their ruthless rise to power despite mounting threats on all fronts. President Walker’s (Michel Gill, The Good Wife) billionaire confidante Raymond Tusk (Gerald McRaney, Southland) demands that Francis reciprocate political favors or face retribution. Also, the glare of the spotlight eats away at Claire and Francis’s once private existence.

The Underwoods must face all of the threats despite any possible collateral damage that might result to avoid losing everything that they have worked for. This dramatic series is one of the most watched ones in the history of Netflix, with many fans binge watching entire seasons of it.

Also, House of Cards was, in 2013, the first-ever streaming series to be nominated for Primetime Emmy® awards. It was then nominated for nine Emmys and won three of them for Outstanding Casting for a Drama Series (Laray Mayfield and Julie Schubert), Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series (David Fincher), and Outstanding Cinematography for a Single Camera Series (Eigil Bryld). In 2014, House of Cards has been nominated for thirteen Emmy®awards for its second season, including a nomination for Outstanding Drama Series.
