Tony Awards, Jersey Shore take a back seat, TV’S Dallas is back

An updated version of the series Dallas will be aired Wednesday, 6/13/2012, 9 p.m. ET, TNT. The original show ran from 1978 to 1991. and millions of fans had a long wait to see who shot JR.

For those dedicated fans, this will be a treat, for it will feature many of the long-standing stars as well as new cast members. Larry Hagman (JR) will still be the oilman encouraging his son, John Ross, to follow in his footsteps. Bobby (Patrick Duffy) is still an alternate energy promoter and encouraging his son, Christopher, to follow in his footsteps.

The show opens celebrating Bobby’s 60th birthday. There is no attempt to stop the aging process. It is moving forward with the energy problems of the modern age.

The old audience should be delighted and the potential is there for a whole new generation to become fans especially those of you that have nothing better to do than watch Jersey Shore. Tonight we’re being treated to the “Tony Awards” but just think about it, the awards are once a year, “Dallas” is once a week. I don’t know about you, but I just can’t wait.
