COLLEGE PARK, Ga. — A man was shot Wednesday morning at World Changers Church in College Park, according to Fulton County police.
Details are still emerging, but investigators know that a person entered the chapel on the church’s campus and started shooting.
Police confirmed that one man was shot and transported in critical condition to South Fulton Hospital.
A manhunt is currently on the way as police are looking for a suspect who left the scene of the church, which is located at 2500 Burdett Road.
Fulton County Fire officials confirmed that the victim was an employee of the church; the person’s name has not yet been released.
The suspect is described as a black man in his 30s, wearing a suit and tie. He fled the scene after the shooting.
The church, which is headed up by Pastor Creflo Dollar, is located on Old National Highway in College Park.
Law enforcement have evacuated all the kids from the daycare area.
