The grainy sex video that incited Hulk Hogan this week has the celebrity wrestler seeking retribution. In other words, Hogan intends to sue over the grainy sex tape footage that found its way online. Surprisingly however, the sex exhibited in the video is not as disturbing as listening to Hogan talking. If nothing else, I’m sure he want the tape taken down so that no one hears what the Hulkster is saying.
A sex tape had been long-rumored that featured pro wrestling icon and pop culture fixture but had not been available to general public until this week. It had been reportedly shopped around to at least one porn studio.
The website Gawker was the first to post the clip after saying it received a copy from an anonymous source.
According to the site, the 1½-minute segment is edited down from a 30-minute recording and shows Hogan about to put some non-wrestling moves on an unidentified brunette.
However, before things get hot and heavy, the ex-grappler’s cell phone goes off (the ringtone is daughter Brooke Hogan’s song “About Us”).
Hulk decides not to answer, and a brief montage of X-rated activity ensues.
Ironically, on the same day the Hogan clip appeared his ex-wife Linda Hogan was arrested at 1 a.m. in Los Angeles for suspicion of driving under the influence, according to E! News.
Linda Hogan was returning home after attending a jewelry function in L.A. Linda was released on $5,000 bail several hours after being booked, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department records.
“She regrets it. She’s a mom, so she’s embarrassed about it,” according to a New York Daily News report.
Linda’s rep told TMZ that the 53-year-old been drinking bubbly on an empty stomach at a jewelry event, and it reacted with antibiotics she’d been taking, magnifying the effects of the alcohol. Her blood alcohol level was allegedly 0.084, the website said, just over the 0.08 California legal limit, but police would not confirm this.
When Linda’s lawyer was specifically asked about the Hogan sex tape he had no comment but told the Daily News that the exes were at a “peaceful place” after their complicated and costly 2009 divorce and that his client’s DUI arrest was not connected in any way.
We watched the edited minute of grainy footage — Gawker says it got the tape anonymously, and for free — and can report that yes, people are naked, tan lines and receding hairlines are showing, and sex does appear to take place.
There’s a very businesslike feel to the excerpts from the encounter, which Hogan, 59, said in March was secretly taped without his knowledge or permission. Hulk’s lawyers on Friday were in the process of drafting a cease-and-desist letter and threatening to sue for invasion of privacy if the tape weren’t taken down, TMZ reported.
Attorney David Houston wouldn’t say exactly when their lawsuit will be filed, or who the intended targets are, but he said in no uncertain terms that they are “commencing action.”
And that comes as no surprise. Houston told E! back in March, when news of the existence of the footage first broke, that they would sue to ensure no one profited from it.
Hogan’s partner in X-rated home-movie antics has not been identified. Houston said that his client was unaware that he was being recorded at the time.
It’s unclear when the tape was made, but Hogan is seen checking his ringing phone to see if it’s his son, Nick, calling—an indicator that the recording was made sometime after Nick’s release from jail in 2008.
The video itself seems awkward, and in fact the sex isn’t even the worst part of the video, it’s the talking! And who is that lady? Is she a hooker? She seems like a hooker.
Gawker claims it may be Heather Clem – the ex-wife of Hogan’s best friend, the radio DJ Bubba The Love Sponge.
Hulk Hogan is most recognized for being a hugely successful, charismatic wrestler for WWE and WCW. The Hulkster made his movie debut in “Rocky III” and starred in many early 90’s movies including “Thunder In Paradise” and “Mr.Nanny”
