Since President Obama took office Donald Trump has joined the efforts of the birthers in believing President Obama isn’t American. Even after President Obama showed his birth certificate he wanted more and proceeded to ask that President Obama unseal his academic records. Still, one can wonder why wasn’t this much pressure on Mitt Romney to release more of his tax returns.

Yet just before the 2012 elections Donald Trump put up a silly $5 million deal that if President Obama unsealed his records he would donate $5 million to a charity of the President’s choosing. President Obama with the class he has just turned a blind eye to the ever ranting Donald Trump. After all President Obama has more important things to do like run a country. Donald Trump may be rich and respected by some but through his most recent rants many are tuning him out. There are many who once watched his show the Apprentice but now wouldn’t give him the time of day. His disrespect for the President and the office he holds is a sign of Trump’s true character.

Donald Trump Speaks To GOP Women's Groups

Now the tables have turned and the joke is on Trump as Bill Maher has offered to pay $5 million to the charity of Donald Trump’s choice if he can prove that he isn’t the spawn of a human and an orangutan. Bill Maher being the comedian he is never expected Donald Trump to actually show proof. It was just a joke meant to show how silly Donald Trump’s offer really was. However, that isn’t stopping Donald Trump from wanting to sue the comedian because he showed documentation. So that leaves one question what type of person would actually take such a bet seriously, yes its an easy bet for Trump to win but it is also impossible for humans and orangutans to breed together. So for Donald Trump to take such a ridiculous joke serious is just ridiculous in itself. So to Donald Trump, please don’t tie up the legal system with this frivolous suit, America’s court system has more important cases to deal with.

The media tries to spin every legitimate inquiry into Obama’s past as a crazy request. Obama has some very serious and possibly illegal identity problems, especially proving he is a natural born citizen. Having a Communist, Kenyan, Muslim father and a Communist, Indonesian, Muslim adopted father disqualifies him immediately no matter where he was born.
Section 1 of Article Two of the United States Constitution sets forth the eligibility requirements for serving as president of the United States:
“ No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.
The purpose of the natural born citizen clause is to protect the nation from foreign influence. Alexander Hamilton, a Convention delegate from New York, wrote in Federalist No. 68 about the care that must be taken in selecting the president: “Nothing was more to be desired than that every practicable obstacle should be opposed to cabal, intrigue, and corruption. These most deadly adversaries of republican government might naturally have been expected to make their approaches from more than one querter, but chiefly from the desire in foreign powers to gain an improper ascendant in our councils.”[5] St. George Tucker, an early federal judge, wrote in 1803 that the natural born citizen clause is “a happy means of security against foreign influence”, and that “The admission of foreigners into our councils, consequently, cannot be too much guarded against.”[6] Delegate Charles Pinckney of South Carolina said in a speech before the Senate, “to insure experience and attachment to the country, they have determined that no man who is not a natural born citizen, or citizen at the adoption of the Constitution, of fourteen years residence, and thirty-five years of age, shall be eligible.”[7]

There was also a perception that a usurper from the European aristocracy could potentially immigrate and buy his way into power.[8] Constitutional scholar Akhil Amar points out that the laws of England specifically allowed a foreign-born head of state, and that this had been an unhappy experience for many who had emigrated to the United States.[8]
