The Los Angeles Police Foundation (LAPF) involves prominent community leaders in funding LAPD youth programs, training, community outreach and equipment and technology not provided in the city budget. LAPD – community relations.

Since its founding in 1998, the LAPF has awarded nearly $18 million in grants to the LAPD. This year marks the LAPF’s 15th anniversary.
