Overdose in 500 block of North Chestnut Street, West Green Bay

Green Bay Wisconsin- Emergency respondents raced to a 911 call on Green Bay’s west side around 8 pm this Friday night. The respondents arrived at a home on the 500 block of North Chestnut Street, not far for the downtown area on Broadway St for an apparent overdose.

This would be the second overdose in the neighborhood in the past week according to a local resident.

The overdose is not confirmed as of yet, however sources on the scene have reported that a female was found in her bathtub after overdosing.

One local resident said that the substance that caused the alleged overdose was heroin

According to sources on the scene a woman was found lying in her bathtub, leading to the call.

A gentleman was taken into custody as a result of the incident, however no names or charges have been released as of yet. More word as it becomes available.

Last report from the scene reports a medical examiner had arrived on the scene along with Crime Scene Investigators.
