Poor old Billy Ray Cyrus. His “Achy Breaky Heart” now has an “Achy Breaky Divorce” to contend with; again. The 51 year-old country music star, and father to Miley Cyrus, has had his second wife Tish serve him with divorce papers.
The petition that was filed on Thursday this week cited “Irreconcilable Differences” as the main reason for the divorce. The petition, if granted will end the 19 year marriage of Billy Ray and Tish. It has been revealed that Miley’s dad has also filed a petition for divorce on the same day.
The 53 year-old mother of five Tish, is seeking spousal support. She also wants the payment of attorney’s fees as well as the legal and physical custody of daughter Noah Cyrus aged 13. Noah is the only one of their five children who is still a minor according to TMZ.
The soon-to-be divorced couple both released separate but almost identical statements to People magazine and both Billy Ray and Tish called the divorce petitions a “personal matter” that would be resolved in the “best interest of our family.”
Cyrus’ publicist released a statement from the singer that stated, “This is a personal matter, and we are doing what is in the best interest of our family. We ask that you respect our privacy at this time.” But Billy Ray Cyrus and his “Achy Breaky” divorce won’t be the first time that his marriage has faltered.
The “Achy Breaky Heart” singer and his wife had separated in October 2010 before he announced on The View that they were reconciling. The then 49 year-old Billy Ray said at the time, “I wanted to put my family back together.” He added that the couple were, “communicating with each other” in a way they hadn’t before. “Things are really the best they’ve ever been.”
But that was then, now it appears that their new-found lines of communication have been broken. Billy Ray and Tish have five children. The couple, who were married in 1993, had three children together; Miley Ray, who was born Destiny Hope in 1992; Braison Chance who was born in 1994 and Noah Lindsey who was born in 2000.
Billy Ray Cyrus also two adopted two stepchildren from wife Tish’s previous marriage; Brandi who was born in 1987 and Trace who was born in 1989.
So far, Miley has been the only child to speak out about how she feels about her parents upcoming divorce. She got on the social media site Twitter to tweet on Thursday, “@billyraycyrus since your text and email obviously aren’t working would you like to talk like this?”
If there is no “last minute” reprieve from either couple, this will be Billy Ray Cyrus’ second divorce. He was married to Cindy Smith in 1986. Cindy co-wrote two songs with Billy Ray that were included on his 1992 debut album Some Gave All. The songs were “Wher’m I Gonna Live and “Some Gave All”, which also served as the album’s main single track and name. The couple divorced in 1991.
In 1992, Tish Finley, his soon-to-be second wife, gave birth to Miley Cyrus. Cyrus had another baby born in the same year as Miley. Christopher Cody Cyrus was also born in 1992. Christopher’s mother is Kristen Luckey, who had an earlier relationship with the country signer. Luckey, raised Christopher in South Carolina.
Billy Ray Cyrus and his “Achy Breaky Heart” was kept pretty busy in 1992, but he got it moving in the right direction in 1993 when he went down the “aisle” with Tish. Unfortunately, despite the couples best efforts, Cyrus will now be getting an “Achy Breaky Divorce.”

When Donald Trump made Jerusalem captial of Israel in late December 2017, the Jewish people said this was a big step for them to build this Third Temple. They even printed a Temple coin with president Trump’s face on the front with king Cyrus'(the man who built the Second Temple in the Bible) face behind him. On the back of the coin is an image of the Third Temple. They are selling these coins to raise money to build the Temple.
People have been saying for many years that the end is near, but we needed not only the Third Temple, but also the technology for there to be a cashless society for the Mark of the Beast to be a reality.
