Four Moreno Valley Residents Arrested for Burglarizing a Highland Jewelry Store.


einbrecherOn Tuesday, April 9th, 2013, a commercial burglary occurred at Cantos Jewelry Store located in the East Highlands Ranch Shopping Center, the Highland Plaza. During the burglary, the suspects entered the business by force, caused substantial damage to the interior of the business and stole several items including jewelry, coins, watches and other items.

Highland Sheriff’s Investigators launched an investigation which has been ongoing since the date of the incident. As a result of the investigation, sheriff’s personnel identified the suspects associated with the burglary out of the Riverside and Moreno Valley areas. Investigators from the Criminal Investigations Division and Gang Enforcement Unit/SMASH, launched several search warrants at various Riverside County locations, the last being in Moreno Valley. During the search warrants, investigators recovered evidence of the commercial burglary, firearms, a substantial quantity of Marijuana and Heroin, and stolen Federal checks.

Deirdrick Bradford, 38, Nakia Hilliard, 38, Nathan Thomas, 28, and Demiya Pearson, 28, all residents of Moreno Valley were arrested for commercial burglary, possession of stolen property, forgery, possession of heroin and marijuana for sales while armed, conspiracy, and participation in a criminal street gang.
