Hostages Being Held in Louisiana Bank

A man armed with what police described as ‘some sort of automatic weapon’ is holding at least three people hostage in a bank in St. Joseph, Louisiana.

The incident is taking place in Tensas Parish, at the Tensas State Bank, which is in the northeastern part of the state.

The hostages are believed to be bank employees, no customers were thought to be inside.

The FBI was on their way, and a state hostage negotiator is on the scene.
