To start watching “VMA All Access” Live NOW, though, here it is for your viewing pleasure:

The MTV VMAs won’t begin until this coming Sunday, August 25, at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT from Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. But, festivities and the VMA Live Stream kicked off this past Wednesday, and will include performances of Robin Thicke’s new video, Big Sean, roundtable discussions, interviews, and much more, coming to you straight from Brooklyn’s Barclays Center!

This year, the five-day promotional run-up to the VMAs will be a multiscreen huge event, with multiple feeds and input from social media sources.

MTV is letting viewers online have what they refer to as “VMA All Access” from now until Sunday so you won’t have to miss out on any of the music and music news associated with the music, viedos, and musical performers who will be a part of the MTV VMAs on Sunday.

Besides the above link and LIVE feed right here for you to view, the
broadband-powered live stream is available on Web browsers (at vma.mtv.com), as well as smartphone and tablets apps and even for the Xbox 360.

What are some of the things you’ll see on the MTV VMA LIVE feed?

As I already mentioned, on the VMA live feed you will be able to see the premiers of some new videos, like Robin Thicke’s. The feed will show a 24/7 mix of live and recorded programming, depending on the time of day you are tuning in.

Earlier tonight, there was a live party shown, with DJs and electronic music playing. This lead into “RapFix Live,” and musicians being interviewed. There will also be music blocks, and other fun surprises in store for you when you tune in!  300x140

Starting at noon ET on Sunday, the day the VMAs air, the feed will shift to a multi-camera view. Visitors tuning in then will get a chance to check out unscripted, pre-event action from 10 different camera angles! Then, on Sunday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. ET, the MTV VMA feed will run its Red Carpet Report. It will be broadcast alongside a selection of VOD clips that will help build up the anticipation even further for the VMAs later that night..

As Colin Helms, MTV’s SVP of digital media puts it:

The idea [with the live feed] is to capture the energy of the Barclays Center up through the show.”

MTV will incorporate social media by bringing you Twitter, Vine, Instagram and Facebook content from all of your favorite VMA artists.

The big show, the VMAs, will feature performances by musicians such as Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Kanye West and more. They will be performing live, and it should be an unforgettable experience. Until then, check out the streaming LIVE MTV VMA feed, right in the comfort of your own homes!
