Octoberber 5, 2013: According to the Fox News, President Assad of Syria has admitted to a German Magazine, Dir Spiegel,in an interview conducted at an undisclosed location, that he has made mistakes in the on going civil war in his country. He also admitted that he is contemplating holding of fresh elections. And if the things remain the same Assad said that he would not be running for the post of President of Syria. According to the interview, the Syrian president was sorry to the whole nation for the death of over 100,000 civilians in the struggle against the rebels; but he denied carrying out any chemical attacks against his own people
