Hip-hop star Tinie Tempah has showered Miley Cyrus with praise for her attempt at re-branding. Not exactly the usual comments directed at her half-naked “twerking” antics, and not exactly what the self-assured star needs to boost her ego.
Regardless, Tinie Tempah stated that he respected her choice to move away from the Hannah Montana image she is well-known for, and that she was picking the right moment to pursue her pivotal point. He remarked upon the fact that Miley Cyrus is branding herself well, because she manages to keep her private life private, which can not be said for many celebrities.
It is true; Miley is only ever publicized on TV or at music awards, which is highly admirable. However, as she manages to do this, viewers are only left to look upon what she chooses to make public, leaving people with an image of her entire persona, being that of a young and naive girl who is desperate to shock people, and move away from childhood.
Surely this is not something to shower with praise, especially from an adult hip-hop star? She is merely a 21-year-old girl who is so oblivious to social conduct that she thinks it looks cool to smoke drugs in a professional environment, and post half naked pictures that leave nothing to the imagination.
If this is something to be admired in the celebrity world, no wonder Miley Cyrus sees nothing wrong with her actions, and although there is nothing wrong with growing up and leaving behind the stuffed toys and long princess hair, she should not be passed a nodding head of approval for turning herself into a symbol of sex, which she juxtaposes with claims of being a feminist – great example to set all the young girls out there who adore her!
Tinie Tempah made clear he could see Cyrus had a plan and it was certainly working. Everyone is talking about her and she grabs all the headlines, whether good or bad. She remains in the spotlight and therefore why should she change her ways? Her outrageous behavior is what provides her with a prosperous income, and this is conjoined with unlimited amounts of fame.
Her music is also selling extremely well, and her fans remain loyal. From a celebrities point of view, Tinie Tempah appears to see a person who is getting exactly when she wants in terms of fame and fortune. She is undoubtedly not being moved from her podium, and as a result she is seen as a person who is successful.
The world of the famous brims to the cusp of insanity. What is deemed as socially acceptable is worlds apart from the “average Joe’s” normality. Most fathers would have banned their child from setting foot outside their house, dressed in the shrunken down clothes Cyrus parades around in. Not to mention destroying every picture of her with her tongue out, making men all over see her as an object of sex.
As Miley Cyrus is showered in praise for her re-branding by the likes of hip-hop star Tinie Tempah, and her movement away from Hannah Montana, which could be deemed by others as highly degrading, she is undeniably safe from being overlooked, and far away from being imprisoned by a lack of attention.

I hate you mily cyrus bich.
Miley Cyrus is a grown woman who has owned her own home since she turned 18. How her father would, or could, make decisions for her and the direction of her career, is silly. She is a celebrity worth approx 130 million dollars, not your neighbors’ kid that works at the mall. As for her being some sort of “role model,” all that ridiculousness is created by corporations like Disney and sold to dumb and lazy parents. Teach your children to look up to doctors, scientists, architects, inventors, and make yourself their role model. Cyrus has been a working performer since age 8. She understands how that business works, and is working it to her advantage. Good for her, why shouldn’t she? That’s her job.
On a personal level, I do not agree with the way she has turned herself into a symbol of sex. She is a role model because she has numerous fans who follow her, and to label herself as a feminist is shameful to the ideas of feminism. However, I do agree with the fact she is old enough to do what she wants, and I respect the fact she does what she wants. I just think the world of celebrity has a way of corrupting people, and as a young attractive female people have taken advantage of her in order to make money, and she is also doing things to gain publicity. Morals should be rated higher than wealth
