John Pinette, a stand-up comedian, was found dead in his Station Square hotel room in Pittsburgh around 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. While the cause of death has not been determined, it has been reported that Pinette was suffering from both liver and heart disease.
Last August, the Pinette had checked into a rehab clinic to address a prescription pill addiction.
John Pinette, originally from Boston, acted in quite a few movies through the years. The comedian was best known for his role as the mugging victim on the final episode of Seinfeld.
