Two years after Robert Downey Jr. and his wife Susan told the world about baby number one, now known as Exton, Downey confirmed via Twitter that baby number two is on the way and it is a girl. The Iron Man 3 star posted an eclectic tweet which consisted of just seven words.
The news that Robert Downey Jr. and his wife are expecting baby number two and the star’s confirming that it is a girl has set the Internet alight with news and gossip websites popping up articles about the new fall addition to the family.
Not content with sharing his news with the Twitter-verse the 49 year-old film star took to his Facebook page and added a few more words and sentences to his announcement.
This will be the third child for Downey as he has another older son, 20 year-old Indio, from his marriage to Deborah Falconer. When his second son, Exton, was born Robert spoke of how he saw himself as a father. At that time, he wanted to been seen as a “real person” and not a hero.
He hasn’t said if that is still true, but, Robert Downey Jr has confirmed that his wife Susan is having baby number two and that it is a girl. Good luck to the happy couple and their scheduled new arrival.
