Islamic State (IS) may have released a video on the beheading of Steven Sotloff. According to a tweet by Reuters, IS has released a video which shows the beheading of the American journalist who went missing in 2013, and may have put blame on “this evil alliance of America.” Reuters also tweeted that a threat has been made against British hostage, David Haines.
The Telegraph has also shared a screen shot of what looks to be part of the video pertaining to the execution committed by Islamic State. More news is developing on the matter, with reports stating the White House has not confirmed the authenticity of the video.
The reported execution comes weeks after American journalist, James Foley was beheaded by IS under terms that U.S. airstrikes come to a halt in Iraq. It also comes days after reports of American success over the town of Amerli in Iraq.
