Pennsylvania police are reporting that Eric Frein, the man suspected of staging the ambush at the state barracks which killed one state trooper and left another injured, has been captured. He has been reportedly hiding out in the woods for the last seven weeks since the September 12 shooting. Frein is described as survival enthusiast with a personal grudge against law enforcement. No details about the actual capture and arrest have been released yet, merely confirmation that he is now in police custody.
