Three suicide bombers attacked a Kurdish security compound, on Sunday, in the eastern Diyala province of Qara Tappah, which is located approximately 75 miles outside of Baghdad, Iraq. The first of the three suicide bombers detonated an explosive belt at the gate going into the Kurdish compound. Then two other bombers followed by driving cars containing explosives into the compound.

According to the Associated Press, the Kurdish compound suffered heavy damage. Hospital officials confirmed at least 60 people were injured and 22 security officers were killed during the vicious attack.
