Off the north coast of Istanbul a boat carrying migrants capsized, 24 bodies have been found. Officials say that more are missing and that a rescue is already in motion.
Apparently a small vessel was transporting migrants. It is possible that they were trying to reach the European Union, specifically Romania. Turkish coast guards and fisherman have picked up a few survivors. Most of the bodies found floating in the water were those of children.
