A Las Vegas man, who has chosen to remain anonymous, hit the jackpot today while playing the slot machines at a local casino. However, unlike most people, who would be greedy and keep the large sum of winnings for themselves, the man has decided to donate his winnings totaling in excess of $14 million.
The man, who is not a regular to the Rampart Casino, decided to try his luck while on an outing with a friend who was visiting from out of town. According to Jenifer Smith, a spokesperson for the casino, it only took the man five minutes and $20 to hit the jackpot on the Megabucks slot machine.
Instead of keeping the hefty sum all for himself, the unnamed winner plans to donate the money to charity. His church family is at the top of his list. The Las Vegas man plans to assist his congregation, who has been holding worship services in the local high school gym, by donating the money necessary to build a new house of worship. It is unclear, at this time, where the man intends to donate the remainder of his winnings.

GULP !
I hope he goes and buys himself a brand new Harley.
Keeping the money you won isn’t greedy, it’s the write reason why gambling exists.
you pay a fee for that tiny stance of a life changing win.
The man probably feels guilty fur having gambled and now buys himself out of Sin,
like in the middle ages.
Let us pray that the new millionaire, 14 Million, remembers those who have no voice, the animals that are killed every year because they do not have homes or food or Congressional protection
Or they need medical care. Our Representatives have not done their job in creating laws against puppy mills and dog fighting and our little and big furry friends suffer. WE ARE THEIR VOICE! The NO-KILL shelters and SMALL PAWS RESCUE AND THE NORTH SHORE ANIMAL LEAGUE ARE LEGITIMATE, HELPFUL CAUSES. (The Humane Society and Humane Society Legislative Fund are VERY questionable. And the Humane Society DOES kill!! And our wild horses need food in the winter, too!)
If his church doesn’t agree, then it isn’t much of a church!
