According to Indianapolis law enforcement officials, four children are believed to have been kidnapped after an alleged homicide on the city’s northwest side. Authorities have been attempting to locate the vehicle in which the suspect left along with the four children

A neighbor of the woman in question at the Whispering Pines complex in the 4500 block of Mission Drive stated that around 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, she saw the woman leave her apartment and allegedly said, “I just killed someone in there.” Afterwards, the woman left with the children. The neighbor called 911 as soon as she drove off. The police do not believe that two of the four children were hers.

During the initial investigation in the suspect’s apartment, a woman who also lived in the apartment was found dead of apparent stab wounds. Reports state that the woman was looking after two of the four children. Though, police investigators are currently unaware of the relation of the two others. Authorities at the IMPD Missing Persons Department are interviewing possible eyewitnesses to get a descriptions of the woman.
