Nepal’s Post Earthquake Death Toll Rises to Over 8,000



The government in Nepal has reported that the death toll following the last earthquake is now over 8000. The situation is still serious for millions of people, as reported by Yahoo News. The price of food and medical supplies continues to rise and even the cost of water is extremely high.

The death toll from last month’s earthquake now stands at approximately 8,019, according to Fox 6 Now. The article added that 17,866 people dealt with injuries and 366 or so continue to be missing. The Nepal earthquake occurred almost a month ago, and the death toll just keeps rising. Aftershocks are even still being felt and on Friday one struck below Kodari.

Nepal continues to receive aid from all across the globe, and the government is trying to resolve the situation as quickly as possible. The main goal is to raise money for reconstruction as well as rehabilitation. The government is trying to aid the people of Nepal as best as possible and find those who are missing. The death toll continues to rise and government officials want to put an end to it and repair the country, as well as its people.
