Jo Andres, a choreographer, artist, and filmmaker who was married to actor Steve Buscemi for 31 years has died at age 65. The cause of death and the date of death has not been released.
“Radar Online” posted a video and photos stating they were taken on Jan. 8 which showed people carrying a wicker casket out of the couple’s Brooklyn Home. Present at the home was Buscemi’s brother Michael and the couple’s son Lucian. Also at the home was Aida Turturro from the “Sopranos” and John Turturro from “Big Lebowski.” Buscemi’s Ladder Company where he was a volunteer firefighter was seen at the home and they carried the casket. The coffin received an FDNY and NYPD Escort.
Buscemi and Andres were last seen together on July 18 when they went to a screening of “Puzzle” from The Cinema Society.
Anders was an artist and filmmaker who was at her peak in the 1980s. She was known for her performance art films and directed the 1996 film “Black Cats.”
Buscemi is best known for his roles in “The Sopranos,” “Boardwalk Empire,” “The Big Lebowski,” and “Fargo.”
