An American Airlines drunk male passenger traveling on a flight from Chicago to Charlotte, N.C. urinated on female passenger’s luggage while the plane was in mid air.
According to reports, American Airlines requested law enforcement to meet Flight 1344 upon its arrival in Charlotte.
An FBI spokeswoman from their local Charlotte office, Shelley Lynch, said that the Bureau was briefed about the police report as early as Friday.
The Charlotte observer reports that CMPD spokes woman Officer Cindy Wallace said air travel protocol follows that the FBI is the agency that investigates criminal offenses that occur during airline fights.
According to the Charlotte police report, the victim is a 28-year-old female who did not what her name to appear on the record. She was not hurt and damages are listed around $100.
Although the report fails to mention the sex of the intoxicated passenger, the implication is that the gender is male. Furthermore, no charges were filed against the drunk passenger.
The FBI in Charlotte did not immediately respond to the Guardian Liberty Voice’s request for comment.
This is still a developing story and therefore, no further information is yet available.
