The Church of Scientology has been operating a museum At 6616 Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles, California. One of the exhibits at the museum blames the practice of psychiatry for several crimes against humanity such as the 9/11 attacks and the Holocaust.
The museum called “Psychiatry: An Industry of Death” is funded by Scientology, and opened in 2005. At the opening may high-profile Scientologists attended such as Jenna Elfman, Leah Remini (who has since left,) Danny Masterson (who has been accused by numerous women of rape,) and Lisa Marie Presley.
One of the exhibits features a film that warns those who watch that psychiatry is responsible for a lot of horrific tragedies happening all around the world.
The museum also sports exhibits which are dimly lit with belligerent wall text, pictures of torture devices in frames, and videos from victims.
Other exhibits in the Scientology museum posit several exhibits that demonstrate how the 9/11 terrorist attacks were dreamed up by a psychiatrist who was associated with Osama bin Laden to boost the sales of anti-depressants.
The Scientology museum describes the Holocaust as “a psychiatric movement which caused the deaths of millions of people.”
Other tragedies blamed on psychiatry include apartheid in South Africa, slavery, segregations, and mass school shootings.
The museum is run primarily by those who are members of the Church of Scientology.
