Fans of Taylor Swift already know that the singer is an animal lover who owns two cats named Dr. Meredith Grey and Olivia Benson. However, it looks like the singer decided two was not enough.

According to “Fox News,” Swift adopted a third cat straight off of the set of her new music video with Brendon Urie. In a post shared to Instagram, the “Me” singer shared a picture of the newest addition to her family, introducing the world to the adorable kitten that she has named Benjamin Button.

In the post, Swift simply wrote, “and then there were three.” Of course, she followed up that initial post with another post that revealed the kitten’s name, while also letting her fans know that Benjamin is a very “good boy.”

Benjamin Button made a cameo appearance in Taylor Swift’s new music video for the single, “Me,” which is how the singer met the latest member of her family. In an interview with “People Magazine,” Swift explained that she found the kitten cute, and since he was part of a program to get adoptable animals in front of the public eye, she could not resist bringing him home with her.

According to Swift, once the animal handler put the kitten in her hands, he started purring and looking at her like she was already his new mother. Basically, it was love at first sight for both the kitten and the singer, so it is no surprise that she was quick to bring him home and give him all the love and attention that she gives to her other cats.
