Slipknot Drummer Shawn ‘Clown’ Crahan Daughter Died From a Drug Overdose

CrahanTMZ is reporting that Slipknot’s drummer and co-founder Shawn ‘Clown’ Crahan’s daughter Gabrielle died from a drug overdose.

It was reported that the fire department and police responded on May 18, 2019, to a phone call informing them that there was a possible overdose in a home located in Hollywood. When they arrived, they found Crahan’s daughter, unresponsive.

CPR was immediately started, and paramedics were unable to revive her, and she was pronounced dead.

Police sources told TMZ on the scene they found drug paraphernalia and evidence of narcotics. Gabrielle was known to have problems with drug abuse in the past.

Authorities continue to investigate the cause of Gabrielle’s death. A toxicology test was ordered, and all signs point to a drug caused her death, TMZ states.

Crahan whose stage name is “Clown” is the final founding member to remain with Slipknot. He announced that Gabrielle’s funeral would be on May 26 in their home state of Iowa.

Crahan thanked all of his fans for their support and love, saying, “All of you have proven that there is strength, empathy, and positivity in the community called humanity located on Earth.”

A few days before Gabrielle died, she posted on her Instagram a photograph of her Alcoholics Anonymous token celebrating five months sobriety. She captioned the photo “Five Months.
