Wendy Williams Says Madonna Moves Like an Old Lady After Performance

Wendy Williams did not think Madonna performed well at the Billboard Music Awards on May 1, 2019. She discussed it on the May 2 episode of “The Wendy Williams Show.”

Williams said 60-year-old Madonna moves like she is an old lady. She continued by saying, “If you move like you are old, then you should stick to old lady moves.”

It was reported Madonna spent $5 Million of her own money to perform her failing new song “Medellin” at the Billboard Awards. The song did not hit any major mainstream Billboard charts and has dropped off iTunes.

Madonna had multiple holographic versions of herself in different outfits, dancers and had her Pete Burns from Dead or Alive signature eye patch. Also included on stage was the man she performs the song with 25-year-old Maluma.

Williams was not impressed with Madonna’s look saying, “Look at the grills which are stupid, an eye patch, and how she sat on the floor while her dancers dragged her around like an old dishrag.”

The studio audience agreed with Williams and cheered.

Madonna groupies took to Twitter slamming Williams for criticizing their idol:

Williams closed the segment by offering Madonna some advice. She told her she should stick with her old Material Girl stuff. That is what we like and want to hear.
