Will the Great Granddaughter of Hitler Bring Fascism to America?

White power, homophobia, misogyny, xenophobia, anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, bigotry focused on Asian Americans, these are some of the underlying causes of hate crimes in America. The Southern Poverty Law Center reported that after Trump received the Republican Party’s nomination in July of 2016, hate crimes increased by 800 percent. The FBI reports that during each successive year that percentage has increased.

Domestic Terrorism Is the Greatest Problem Facing America in the 21st Century

2023 is on a path to become the year remembered by historians as the deadliest year in history based on gun violence and acts of domestic terrorism.

Most of the blame for an increase in these heinous crimes must be placed on Trump, right-wing politicians and fake news led by Fox. The most vociferous person, and media favorite, is Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Representative from the dark red state of Georgia. I often refer to Greene as “Hitler’s Great Granddaughter” for her extremist actions and words. Sadly, a broadcast I once respected, “60 Minutes,” allowed her to express her desire to commit treason on a recent broadcast. We cannot trust the media.

Not only was Greene raised in an all-white community, the county’s residents forced all Black families out of its boundaries, ensuring its ‘purity.’ There is no one in America who is a greater supporter of fascism than the “loud, foul mouth from the Peach State.”

The Right-Wing Is Following Hitler’s Playbook

Hitler controlled 1930’s Germany with tactics which prevented free thought and an open exchange of ideas. He controlled all media while creating baseless conspiracy theories about his dissenters and the followers of Judaism. This is identical to the efforts of Trump between 2015 and 2021.

Trump created a cult with the assistance of fake Republicans who support the end of democracy and the creation of a fascist state inside the United States. If Trump had won reelection, we would no longer have our right to vote, to speak our own opinions, or peacefully protest against government corruption. Our choice of religion, our incomes, and our political preferences would be controlled by the government. To be totally accurate, as they did from 2017 and 2021, Trump and Putin would be controlling the lives of all 331 men, women and children who once loved their freedoms under the principles of democracy, and a government composed of true Americans.

Expel MTG from the House

Last year MTG spoke at a Neo-Nazi rally in Florida. During a recent event focused on young Republicans was recently held, she told young men and women who support today’s fake Republicans that “if she and Steve Bannon had led the January 6, 2021 insurrection, they would have won.”

What would they have won? Was this an organized effort to end America? How were any Trump supporters elected when they prove time and time again that they hate the country the promised to serve?

Time to Face the Facts

This is not the time to “pooh pooh” my truths or those of anyone who loves this country. We are in great danger of losing our fight to save the dreams of our Founding Fathers. Tens of millions of American citizens support white supremacy. As well as every issue involving prejudice and bigotry included in Trump and his American Fascist Party’s plans for our future.

The question becomes, “are you willing to allow the ambitions of Vladimir Putin, his puppet, Donald Trump, Moscow Mitch McConnell, Ted Cruz, Ron Johnson, Kevin McCarthy, MTG, Lauren Boebert, Matt Gaetz, Jim Jordan, and other extremists on the right to succeed and place you and me in virtual slavery?”

I Will Likely Not Suffer the End of America, But You Will

I am nearly 77 years old. Most likely,  I will meet the end of my life before the worst becomes reality. Thus, I do not write these articles for me. But they are intended for my children, my grandchildren, and those they love. You are the future and you must become involved.

As our 16th President predicted, if the United States is destroyed, it will come from within. It’s all up to you.
