Los Angeles, CA—47-year-old Rodney King was found dead in his swimming pool this morning, his fiancé said and authorities. The Rialto police received a 911 call for help from Cynthia Kelly around 5:25 a.m.. When police arrived they found King at the bottom of the pool. Officers removed him attempted to revive him but were unsuccessful in their effort.
Police are leading an investigation into the cause of death but have stated that there were no preliminary signs of foul play.
His fiancee heard him in the rear yard and found him in the pool when she went outside.
