With Geographical skills like these, I’m surprised that Americans could even find Iraq on a map – much less invade it. Oh yeah….silly me ….they were looking for Afghanistan at the time!
you lot are morons. it was only 9 kms deep. report facts.
Plus it was only a few kilometers deep, not over a hundred miles!!
What on earth are the people at this “”news agency”” smoking!?!
I know earthquakes move land about but this must be something of a record!
Complete and utter rubbish.
USGS is clearly a comical attempt at being a geological institute.
I feel like the Education system in the States is SERIOUSLY lacking, considering when they don’t know where it is, they still can’t even look it up on a map, google, or even local news pages. Stop insulting an ENTIRE COUNTRY with your poor research and misleading facts and go back to school!
