She currently acts as the Goodwill Ambassador for the UN Environment Programme. This agency assists various countries in environmental affairs, aiding to help them conduct policy and behavior that is environmentally sound and is beneficial for the world as a whole.

As well as this, Bündchen has worked tirelessly to help the homeless population of her native country. She once donated $150,000 to Brazil’s Zero Hunger program, the end goal of which is to completely eradicate hunger and extreme poverty from the country as a whole.

At one point, she even designed a necklace for Harper’s Bazaar to help raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, an accessory that the magazine advertised for a limited time. Bündchen has also pulled out all the stops in order to assist those dealing with the traumatic aftermath of a natural disaster; these tragedies include that of Hurricane Katrina, and the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami, to name a few. For the latter, she donated a full million dollars to the Japanese Red Cross Society earthquake fund that was created in the wake of the event.
