A bomb threat was called into the Philadelphia International Airport on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2015. Authorities have reported that a male called 911 at 4:30 p.m. EST, and stated there was a bomb in the Terminal A baggage claim.
The caller demanded that British Airways’ planes not be allowed to leave the airport. Investigators traced the call to a pay phone in the airport’s customer waiting area.
Police have not said if any devices have been found at this time. There is no further information available.
According to CBSPhilly, the airport was cleared at 6:30 p.m. Police have arrested a 30-year-old man from Norway.
The man’s identity or the charges he could be facing have not been released by police at this time. No other information was forthcoming.
