On Friday, March 27, 2026, WWE held a celebrity SmackDown event between Grammy Award winner Jelly Roll and Kit Wilson. This was a highly anticipated match for some fans and a total waste of time for others.
Jelly Roll vs Kit Wilson
Before the match began, Wilson read a poem about his mother’s lack of sexual interest in the popular musical performer.
The match took a little more than five minutes. Roll attempted a chokeslam, but Wilson was able to dodge it. Roll became desperate enough to try using Kit’s poetry book as a weapon at one point, Wilson dodged that too.
Wilson had his opponent down on the mat but was unable to keep him down for the three count. Roll landed a chokeslam for the pin and the victory.
Previous Jelly Roll Win
Last year, during WWE SummerSlam, Roll lost his debut tag team match. This event was one-on-one and Roll proved he was a better wrestler than Wilson, earning his first career win.
