Triple H announced on social media that Nickelback’s newest single, “Bones for the Crows,” will be the official theme song for WrestleMania 42.
“They’ve rocked with us for over 20 years, and their new song will soundtrack the Grandest Stage of Them All. @Nickelback’s “Bones For The Crows” is an official #WrestleMania theme song,” posted Triple H on X.
Nickelback WWE History
“Burn it to the Ground” by Nickelback was the WWE Raw theme song from 2009 to 2012. Other tracks like “Rockstar,” “Edge,” and “Revolution” have also been a feature of WWE programming over the years. “Bones for the Crows” was initially created for Dungeon Hunter 6 in 2023.
“Bones for the Crows” is Nickelback’s first single release since their “Get Rollin” album in 2022.
Promotional material for WrestleMania 42 used Aerosmith and Youngblud’s “Back in the Saddle.”

The WWE event will be held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on April 18, 19, 2026.
Roman Reigns and CM Punk will face off for the World Heavyweight Championship. Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes will meet in the ring for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
Brock Lesnar will meet Oba Femi in the ring for one of the most physically imposing matches on the WrestleMania 42 card. Lesnar, “The Beast,” ended The Undertaker’s 21-match winning streak and offers an unmatched stage presence to the event. He will go toe-to-toe with “The Bringer of War,” one of the fastest-rising stars in the WWE. An established legend and a future world champion, offering a look into the next generation of the WWE.
In the women’s division, Rhea Ripley will take on Jade Cargill for the WWE Women’s Title, and Stephanie Vaquer will defend her Women’s World Championship against Liv Morgan.
WrestleMania 42 Rumor Matches
The rest of the event card had not been finalized, but there are rumors of possible matches.
The Usos vs Lgan Paul and Austin Theory in a WWE World Tag Team Championship match.
El Grande Americano vs. “Original” El Grande Americano.

United States Champion – Carmelo Hayes
Women’s Intercontinental Champion – AJ Lee
Women’s United States Champion – Giulia

The event will stream on ESPN Unlimited on April 18-19. The first hour of both nights will air for free on ESPN.
